Spanish Colonial Furniture We specialise in Spanish Colonial furniture from South America. The style displays the unique combination of Spanish and indigenous elements that dominated in the early Spanish colonies of North and South America. The furniture is made from reclaimed South American hardwood, mostly sourced from old buildings and is typically 90 to 300 years old. The individual markings in each piece of timber reflects its own story of the past with each piece of furniture being absolutely unique. The furniture is individually hand crafted by local South American artisans and the joinery is finished in the old style. Many of the pieces incorporate oxidised wrought iron in the design. The ironwork is also hand-made by local artisans, well regarded for their artistic abilities.
